Creativity-Expression-Imagination – My Photographic Adventures

About

21st Century Ansel AdamsHi, I’m Maria, the Photographer and owner of Lace Market Photography.

Now based in Nottingham,  I’ve taken photographs all over the world from an early age.  Being a photographer gives me lots of  creative freedom, and running my own business allows me the freedom to work when and where I want to – it’s a great job.

This Blog is all about My Photography  –  My Vision.

I enjoy taking photographs of just about anything, from landscapes, and people, to flora and fauna, and buildings to still life – basically anything that catches my eye or imagination.  The images might make a statement, evoke an emotion, create a smile, or they might just simply record a moment in time.  What makes something worth photographing is different for everyone – and as is said, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  Nothing could be more true and with that in mind not every image, here in my blog, will ‘do it’ for you, but hopefully some of them will evoke some kind of reaction within you; good, bad, interested or something else  –  so please have your say, whatever your view, by leaving me a comment in the box under each new post.

If I had no choice but to photograph only one subject – it would be dogs every time.  The way they look, their characteristics, all the antics they get up to; whether they make me laugh or make me cry – I just lov’em!  So don’t be surprised by a biaise towards my many pooch pals.

Fear less – Love more

    Hi maria,

Love the pics of the soggy dogs on the beach! Have not blogged before so don’t know what to do either but great way to keep in touch. Looking forward to seeing more of your work and perhaps meet with the dogs on a beach somewhere soon???
